As shown in Figure 7-13, the Memory Utilization section of the page contains the following Excel
Maximum Private Bytes — This setting determines the maximum number of private bytes (MB)
that can be allocated by the ECS process. When this limit is reached, the ECS stops processing
requests until the size of the process is reduced below the limit. You can set this property to
either of the following:
-1 — This is the default. It sets the maximum size to 50 percent of physical memory
on the ECS.
Memory Cache Threshold — This setting determines the percentage of the maximum private
bytes that can be allocated to inactive objects. When this limit is reached, the inactive objects
are released from the memory cache (objects not associated with an active session). The default
setting is 90. You can set this property to either of the following:
0 — Disables caching of inactive objects.
