Properties for Trusted Data Providers
Follow the directions provided previously in this chapter to navigate through Central Administration
until you arrive at the SSP home page. Then click the Trusted Data Providers link in the Excel Services
Settings section on the right side of the page.
The ExcelServerSafeDataProviders.aspx page is displayed (see Figure 7-18). You can use this page to add
a trusted data provider, edit an existing trusted data provider, delete an existing trusted data provider,
or simply see the properties for existing trusted data providers.
To edit or delete an existing trusted data provider, open the ECB menu associated with the
corresponding trusted data provider entry in the list, and select the operation you want to perform. To create a
new trusted data provider, use the Add Trusted Data Provider link at the top of the trusted data
provider list.
