Try It Out Turning on Versioning
To turn on versioning, follow these steps:
1.
In the Sales Report document library, select Document Library Settings from the Settings
dropdown menu.
2.
On the Settings page, click Versioning Settings in the General Settings column.
3.
Content approval should already be required from the previous exercise. If it is not, select Yes as
the Content Approval option.
4.
In the Document Version History section, select the option to create major and minor (draft)
versions.
5.
Require documents to be checked out before they are edited by selecting Yes for that option.
6.
Leave the rest of the options at their defaults. Your page should look similar to Figure 11-15.
7.
Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen.
8.
Return to the document library by using the navigation breadcrumb link at the top of the page.
