WD 186 Word Chapter 3 Creating a Cover Letter and a Resume
contains instructions for fi lling areas of the template. To select a content control, you
click it. As soon as you begin typing in the selected content control, your typing replaces
the instruction in the control. Thus, you do not need to delete the selection before you
begin typing.
The next step is to personalize the resume. The following pages personalize the
resume created by the resume template.
To Delete Rows
The fi rst and last rows of the resume created from the template contain a decorative line. The resume in this
project deletes those rows to provide more space for the contents of the resume. The following steps delete the fi rst
and last rows on the resume.
