To Change Spacing Below Paragraphs
The next step is to remove the blank space below the company name paragraph, so
that the company name and job description paragraphs are closer together. The following
steps change the spacing after to 0 point.
1 Display the Page Layout tab.
2 With the insertion point in the paragraph to be adjusted, as shown in Figure 3–74, click
the Spacing After box down arrow on the Page Layout tab as many times as necessary
until 0 pt is displayed in the Spacing After box.
To Enter and Format More Text in Content Controls
The next step is to select the job responsibilities content control in the Experience
section of the resume and replace its instructions with personal information.
1 In the Experience section of the resume, click the content control with the instruction,
Type job responsibilities.
2 Type Assisted chef with meal selection, preparation, and presentation.
Assumed chef responsibilities during last semester of school.
3 With the insertion point in the paragraph to be adjusted, in this case, the job responsibilities
paragraph, click the Spacing After box down arrow on the Page Layout tab as many times
as necessary until 6 pt is displayed in the Spacing After box.
4 Display the Home tab.
5 Click the Increase Indent button on the Home tab to indent the paragraph one-half inch
(Figure 3–75).
