To Resize a Column in a Datasheet
The Access default column sizes do not always allow all the data in the fi eld to appear. In some cases, the data may
appear, but not the entire fi eld name. You can correct this problem by resizing the column (changing its size) in the datasheet.
In some instances, you may want to reduce the size of a column. The State fi eld, for example, is short enough that it does not
require all the space on the screen that is allotted to it. Changing a column width changes the layout , or design, of a table.
The following steps resize the columns in the Client table and save the changes to the layout.
