To designate a trusted folder:
1. Click the Office Button
, and then click the Access Options button. The Access
Options dialog box opens.
2. In the left section of the dialog box, click Trust Center , click the Trust Center
Settings button in the window on the right to open the Trust Center dialog box,
and then in the left section, click Trusted Locations . The trusted locations for your
installation of Access and other options are displayed on the right. See Figure 5-45.

Existing trusted locations appear in the list at the top; and options to add, remove,
and modify trusted locations appear at the bottom.
Trouble? Check with your instructor before adding a new trusted location. If your
instructor tells you not to select this option, skip to Step 5.
3. Click the Add new location button to open the Microsoft Office Trusted Location
dialog box, click the Browse button, navigate to the Level.02\Tutorial folder where
your Data Files are stored, and then click the OK button.
You can also choose to designate subfolders of the selected location as trusted
locations, but you won’t select this option.
4. Click the OK button. Access adds the Level.02\Tutorial folder to the list of trusted

button to close the Access Options dialog box.
