Changing the Table Layout
Not surprisingly, you’ll find tools for modifying a table’s layout—the number of rows and
columns—on the Layout tab under Table Tools. See Figure 8-8.
Adjusting Column Widths and Row Heights
Using options in the Cell Size group on the Layout tab, you can set the height of the
selected rows and the width of the selected columns. You might find it easier to adjust
the size directly. Position the mouse pointer on a table gridline, where it becomes a
twoheaded arrow around a separation line. At that point, you can drag to resize the row or
column.
