Copy and Paste a Slide
If you create presentations about similar subjects, you may want to copy a slide from one
presentation to another to save time. For example, you may need to copy a slide that contains a
table of data. The ability to copy the slide from one presentation to another saves you time because
you do not need to re-create the slide; you can simply copy and paste it. You can also click and drag
a slide from one presentation to another to copy it.
Copy and Paste a Slide
1 Select the slide(s) you want to
copy in Slide Sorter view.
Note: You can also perform this task
in Normal view.
Note: To select multiple slides, click
the first slide, and then press
while clicking additional slides.
2 Click the Home tab.
3 Click the Copy button ( ).
4 Switch to a presentation that
is open.
5 In Slide Sorter view, click in
between the slides where you
want the copied slide to appear.
The insertion point appears.
6 Click the Home tab.
7 Click Paste .
A The copied slide(s) appear in the
presentation.
B You can change the slide back to
its original formatting by clicking
the Paste Options button ( )
and then clicking the Keep Source
Formatting button.
