Display Outline View
Display Outline View
Outline view is the same as Normal view except the Outline pane replaces the Slides Thumbnail
pane. Typing text into a slide in Normal view can be cumbersome — you need to move and
manage text and bullets. In Outline view, you simply type text into an outline and PowerPoint adds
slides, inserts text into them, and manages bullets. When you finish working with the text, you can
switch to Normal view to work on the slide design. You can easily move between Outline view and
other views so that you can alternate between typing text and designing the slides.
Display Outline View
1 Click the View tab.
2 Click Outline View .
PowerPoint displays Outline
view.
