Open a File
1 Repeat Steps to .
2 Click Current Folder .
3 Click the Look in down arrow ( ).
4 Navigate to and click the folder that
contains the file you want to open.

dialog box.
5 Click the file to open.
6 Click OK.

TIPS
How do I remove a link to a file but
leave the link text?
Right-click the hyperlink, and click Edit
Link on the shortcut menu. When the
Edit Hyperlink dialog box opens, click
Remove Link . The link text remains, but
PowerPoint removes the link.
Can I give the hyperlink a longer description?
Yes. You can do this by creating a ScreenTip. Right-click the
hyperlink, and click Edit Link on the menu. In the Edit
Hyperlink dialog box, click the ScreenTip button. In the
ScreenTip dialog box, type the description and click OK. If
your ScreenTip feature is enabled, the ScreenTip appears in a
little box when you position the mouse pointer (
) over the
link during the slide show.
