Opening and Using the Visual Basic Editor
You can open the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) from within any Microsoft
application by either of two methods. You can either go to the Tools menu and
chose Macro | Visual Basic Editor, (as shown below,) or just use the keyboard
shortcut: Alt+F11.
Note: Some keyboards have F-Lock keys. On reboot, you must hit this key to turn
that feature off, so that Alt+F11 and other keyboard shortcuts using Function
keys work properly.

Once you have opened the VBE, you will see a screen similar to the one on the
following page. If you do not see the Project Explorer—the window shown on
the left side—press Ctrl+R to open it.
