Did You Know?
You can set the default number of decimal places
Excel applies when you type a number into a
worksheet. Click the Office button. A menu appears.
Click Excel Options in the lower-right corner. Click
Advanced. Make sure the Automatically Insert
Decimal Point check box is checked ( changes
to ). Type the number of decimal places you want
in the Places field. Click OK.
Did You Know?
If you right-click in any cell that contains a number,
you can choose number formatting options from
the Mini-Toolbar or you can click Format Cells
from the contextual menu to open the Format
Cells dialog box.
