INSERT PHOTOGRAPHS
into your worksheet
Photographs can enhance your worksheet, illustrate
your point, and emphasize your message. Adding a
photograph to Excel is easy. Just locate the photograph
and insert it.
After you insert your photograph, you can choose
from many options to enhance the display of your
photo. Use picture styles to angle; add borders,
shadows, and reflections; and otherwise stylize your
photograph. As you roll your cursor over the various
picture styles, Excel provides a preview of how the
styles appear when applied.
You can change the color of your picture border and
adjust your photo’s brightness and contrast. You
can even crop your photo to show only the portion
you want.
You can manipulate your photograph the same way
you manipulate any other graphic. You can move it,
rotate it, and resize it. When resizing, drag the corner
handles to resize your photo proportionately. Drag the
side handles to make your picture wider. Drag the
top and bottom handles to make your picture taller.
