Did You Know?
The example paste links Excel into Word. You can
follow the same steps to paste link an Excel worksheet
into PowerPoint; just switch to PowerPoint instead of
Word in Step 4.

You can paste link a Word document into Excel. The
procedure is the same except you select the data in
Word you want to paste link and click the Word Copy
button ( ). Then move to Excel and click the Home
tab, Paste, and Paste Special. The Paste Special dialog
box appears. Click Paste Link ( changes to ).
Click Microsoft Office Word Document Object and
then OK. Your Word document appears in Excel.
Double-click your Word document to edit it.
