Did You Know?
If you are importing a fixed-width file, you tell
Excel exactly where each column begins by
clicking the location in the Data Preview
window. Excel inserts a break line. You
can adjust the location of the line or delete
the line.
Did You Know
Excel has an option you can use to break
individual cells into columns. The feature
works a lot like the Text Import Wizard. You
select the cells you want to divide, and then
you click Text to Columns on the Data tab. The
Convert Text to Columns Wizard opens. Use it
to divide your cells into columns.
