You can append Excel data to an existing Access
table. On the first page of the Get External Data
— Excel Spreadsheet Wizard, click Append a Copy
of the Records to the Table ( changes to )
and then select the table to which you want to
append.

On the first page of the Get External Data — Excel
Spreadsheet Wizard, you can choose to link your
Access data to Excel. If you link your data, any
changes you make to the Excel data are reflected
in Access. You can use Access to query the data
or create reports, but you cannot update your
data in Access.
