Please note that the copy and paste operation does not show any hidden columns, resulting
in a table that is missing them. Moreover, all the columns that are calculated in the original
table retain only their value, losing the formula. This behavior is correct because the formulas
used the hidden columns that are no longer available.
You can now create a Linked Table by using the NewSales table, which contains the new sales
from the Excel worksheet. After you have the table, you can use a copy and paste
operation in PowerPivot, but this time you choose Paste Append. The rows from the copied table
are appended to the destination row, which is evident in Figure 8-29, where you can see
that the Paste Preview window shows both source and destination tables.
