Excel 2013 comes with a wide variety of templates that you can
use to create workbooks to manage your data with a few clicks
of the mouse. You can select from built-in templates for both
business and personal use, or you can search the online
template collection that includes workbooks for managing budgets,
creating invoices, printing calendars, managing your expenses,
creating lists, projecting loan payments, and keeping a
schedule. After you create a workbook based on a template, you can
modify it to meet your specific needs.
Create a workbook from a template
1 Click the File tab.
2 Click New.
3 If necessary, click a template category.
4 Double-click the template that you want to use to create your

TIP If you have an active Internet connection, you can type
one or more keywords in the Search Office.com For Templates
box and click the Start Searching button (it looks like a right-pointing
arrow) to look for templates on the Office.com website.
