Using file properties
Define custom properties
1 Open the file to which you want to assign property values.
2 Click the File tab.
3 If necessary, click Info.
4 Click Properties.
5 Click Advanced Properties.
6 Click the Custom tab.
7 Type the name of the custom property.
8 Select the type of data contained in the property.
9 Type a value for the property.
10 Click Add.
11 Click OK.
TRY ThIS Excel comes with a set of predefined custom
properties, such as Checked By and Date Completed. To use an
existing custom property, display the Custom tab of the Properties
dialog box, click the name of the custom property, type a value for the
property in the Value box, and click OK.
