Editing an Excel Table
When you create an Excel table, you design it with the best
structure to store your data. If the data you want to store in your
Excel table changes, you can resize the table to fit your new
column’s header. When the mouse pointer changes to a
downward-pointing black arrow, click the left mouse button to select
the column. You can then press Ctrl+C to copy the data and
paste it elsewhere in your workbook.
If you’d like to copy an entire column of data from an Excel
table, you can do so by positioning the mouse pointer over the

1 Click any cell in the Excel table.
2 On the ribbon, under Table Tools, click the Design tab.
3 In the Properties group, type a new name for your Excel table, and
press Enter.
