Creating hyperlinks to web and email resources
Many home businesses and larger organizations make
information available on websites. If your workbook references
products, services, or other information that’s available on a web
page, you can create a hyperlink to that information. You can
also create a mailto hyperlink, which, when clicked, lets you
send an email message to the address referred to in the link.
Add a hyperlink to a webpage
1 Click the cell in which you want to place a hyperlink.
2 Click the Insert tab.
3 Click Hyperlink.
4 Click Existing File Or Web Page.
5 Click Browsed Pages.
6 Click the webpage to which you want to link.
7 Type a short phrase to describe the hyperlink’s target.
8 Click OK.

CAUTIoN When you click Browsed Pages, the Insert Hyperlink
dialog box displays all the web pages you visited recently.
