Cutting, copying, and pasting cell values
Cutting, copying, and pasting cell values
After you enter values in one or more cells, you can copy the
values and paste them into another cell, remove the values
from the cells and paste them elsewhere, or just cut the values
and leave them on the Clipboard. Excel 2013 lets you control
how the pasted values appear in your worksheet. When you
click the Paste button’s down arrow, you can hover your mouse
pointer over any of the icons to display a live preview of how
the pasted data will appear if you select that paste formatting
option. Pointing to another icon displays the result of selecting
that paste option, and clicking an icon pastes your copied items
using the icon’s paste options.
