Copying and pasting
Figure 8-2 Before you paste, select more cells than you copied to create multiple copies of your
information.
In Figure 8-2, we did the following:
Copied cell A1, selected the range C1:C12, and then pasted, resulting in Excel
repeating the copied cell in each cell in the selected range.
Copied Cells A1:A4, selected the range E1:E12, and then pasted, resulting in Excel
repeating the copied range within the range.
Copied cells A1:A4, selected cell G1, and then pasted, resulting in an exact duplicate
of the copied range.
Copied cells A1:A4, selected the range A15:G15, and then pasted, resulting in Excel
repeating the copied range in each selected column.
