In this exercise, you’ll view and change your work week.
SET UP You don’t need any practice files to complete this exercise. Display your
calendar, turn off the Daily Task List, and then follow the steps.
On the Home tab, in the Arrange group, click the Work Week button.
Let’s maximize the space available to view your work week.
On the View tab, in the Layout group, click the Daily Task List button, and then
click Off .
In the Layout group, click the Folder Pane button, and then click Minimized .
If the Reading Pane or To-Do Bar is open, turn it off by using the commands in the
Scroll up and down the calendar page to display the beginning and end of the work
day. Notice that time slots during working hours are white, and time slots during
nonworking hours are shaded.
The calendar visually distinguishes working and nonworking time by shading nonworking time.
TROUBLESHOOTING If your work week does not match the default days and times
described here, work through this exercise by using your own settings.
