In the New mail messages area, click the Font button. In the Font dialog box, notice
the many fonts you can choose from. Enter g to scroll the Font list to the fonts
beginning with that letter, and then click Garamond . Notice that the sample text in the
Preview pane changes to reflect your selection.
The options on the Font page provide many creative choices.
TIP Unlike the Font lists in other areas of Outlook, the Font list in this dialog box
doesn’t display font previews simply by pointing to one; you must select the font to
display a sample in the Preview box. You can preview fonts in the font lists that are
available in a message composition window, either from the Basic Text group on the
Message tab or from the Font group on the Format Text tab.
Scroll down the Font list and click Lucida Sans . Notice that the options available in
the Font Style list change. The available styles are specific to the fonts installed on
TIP Fonts are installed on your computer in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. You can
view all the installed fonts in that folder.
