11 In the Type a name for this signature box, enter Casual . Then click OK to create the
Casual signature, which is currently blank.
12 In the Edit signature box, enter Thanks! , press the Enter key, and then enter your
first name.
13 Do not apply any formatting to the first line of the signature; leave this as the
default font.

Select your name. In the Font list, click Lucida Handwriting (or any other font you
like). In the Font Size list, click 14 .

Click the Font Color arrow and then, in the Standard Colors palette, click the Blue
swatch. Then click away from your name to display the results of your changes.
Formatted elements of your signature will appear in email messages exactly as they do here.
TIP If you want to include your electronic business card as part of your signature,
click the Business Card button. Then in the Insert Business Card dialog box, locate
and click your name, and click OK.

You can manually insert an email signature into a message, but you might find it
more convenient to instruct Outlook to insert the signature automatically. We’ll do
that now.

In the Choose default signature area, ensure that your default email account is
selected in the E-mail account box. Then in the New messages list, click Casual to
instruct Outlook to insert your signature into all new email messages you send from
this account. Do not select a signature in the Replies/forwards list.

Make any other changes you want, and then click OK in the Signatures and
Stationery dialog box and in the Outlook Options dialog box.
