To insert a picture from a file into an email message or item, position the cursor in the
content pane or notes pane in which you want the picture to appear, and then follow
these steps:
On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click the Pictures button to open the
Insert Picture dialog box and display the contents of your Pictures library.
In the Insert Picture dialog box, browse to the folder that contains the picture you
want to insert.
Click the picture to select it, and then click Insert .
TIP To insert multiple pictures at one time, select the first picture you want to insert.
Then either press Shift and click the last picture in a consecutive series, or press Ctrl
and click each individual picture.
After inserting a picture from a file or from an online source, you can modify the picture
and control the low of text around it by using the commands on the Format tool tab that
appears when the picture is selected.
Many interesting picture formatting options are available within an Outlook
email message.
