Notice that the Quick Access Toolbar of the open message window now includes
the default buttons and the New Appointment , New Contact , New Email , and New
Task buttons, separated by a line.
You can now create a new Outlook item with a single click while composing
a message, or mark the message as urgent when the ribbon is hidden.
13 Close the message composition window. (Don’t save your changes if Outlook prompts
you to do so.) Notice that there has been no change to the Quick Access Toolbar
in the Outlook program window. It still displays only the Send/Receive and Undo
buttons.
14 Open a new message composition window and notice that it has your modified
Quick Access Toolbar .

Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar button and then, at the bottom of the
menu, click Show Below the Ribbon .

Click to position the cursor in the content pane. On the Format Text tab, in the Font
group, right-click the Font arrow, and then click Add to Quick Access Toolbar .
When positioned below the ribbon, the Quick Access Toolbar can host many commands
without interfering with the title bar.
