IMPORTANT Be careful when downloading add-ins from websites other than those you trust.
Add-ins are executable files that could be used to spread viruses and otherwise wreak havoc on
your computer. For this reason, default settings in the Trust Center intervene when you attempt
to download or run add-ins.
To use some add-ins, you must first install them on your computer and then load them into
your computer’s memory, as follows:
At the bottom of the Add-Ins page of the Outlook Options dialog box, with COM
Add-ins selected in the Manage list, click the Go button.

You can activate installed add-ins or add new add-ins from this dialog box.
In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, click Add .

In the Add Add-In dialog box, navigate to the folder in which the add-in you want to
install is stored, and double-click its name to add it to the list of those that are
available for use.

In the list, select the check box of the new add-in, and then click OK . The add-in is
now loaded and available for use in Outlook.
TIP In some cases, you will need to restart Outlook to complete the add-in
installation.
