Using public folders
Public folders are shared storage folders in an Exchange environment. Exchange doesn’t
create public folders automatically; your Exchange administrator must specifically enable
this feature.
If your organization uses public folders, these folders are available from the Folder List,
which you can display in the Folder Pane of the Mail module.
To display the Folder List and your organization’s public folders,
click the Folders link or button on the Navigation Bar.
You can store Outlook items in a public folder by manually copying or moving the items,
or by creating a rule to automatically move or copy items that meet specific criteria.
If you have the necessary permissions, you can create public folders and make them
available to the entire organization or to selected individuals or groups.
