In its default view, a SharePoint contact list displays only selected information fields.
Follow steps 2 through 7 of the previous procedure for connecting a SharePoint
document library to Outlook (except that in SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint 2010,
the Connect to Outlook command for the contact list is on the List tab rather than
on the Library tab).
Outlook creates an address book, named for the SharePoint site and contact list,
that contains contact records created from the information stored in the SharePoint
contact list. The new address book is available in the People module.
The imported SharePoint contact list in the Outlook Contacts module.
Changes that you make to the contact records in the Outlook address book are
automatically synchronized with the SharePoint contact list, and vice versa.
