Click the Rounded Rectangle shape
in the Rectangles area of the Shapes
gallery, which removes the gallery
and changes the mouse pointer to
the shape of a crosshair.
Position the mouse pointer
(a crosshair) by the insertion point in
the document window, as shown in
Figure 3– 4, which is the location for
the upper-left corner of the desired
shape.
What is the purpose of the crosshair
mouse pointer?
In the document window, you will
drag the crosshair mouse pointer
from the upper-left corner to the
lower-right corner to form the
desired location and size of the
shape.
