If your USB l ash drive is not
expanded, double-click the USB
l ash drive in the list of available
storage devices in the navigation
pane to select that drive as the
new save location and display its
contents in the right pane.

What if I do not want to save in
a folder?
Although storing i les in folders
is an effective technique for
organizing i les, some users prefer
not to store i les in folders. If you
prefer not to save this i le in a
folder, skip all instructions in
Step 3c and proceed to Step 4.

How do I know that
the i le is saved?
While an Ofi ce
program is saving a
i le, it briel y displays
a message on the
status bar indicating
the amount of the
i le saved. In addition,
the USB l ash drive
may have a light that
l ashes during the
save process.
