Using the Plan a Meeting Command
When the Calendar is active, you’ll find the Plan a Meeting command on Outlook’s Actions
menu. This command provides you with another way to plan a meeting and invite attendees.
The steps you’ll carry out are the same, but are in a different order. The process starts with the
Scheduling window (covered in the next section) where you can view your calendar and those of
any of your contacts whose calendar information is available. Once you have selected the meeting
time, you click the Make Meeting button, which creates a new meeting at the scheduled date
and time. You then proceed as described elsewhere to complete the meeting request.
