Transpose Rows and Columns
Transpose Rows
and Columns
You can use the Transpose command in Excel to
easily turn a row of data into a column of data, or a
column of data into a row of data.
The Transpose command is useful when you enter
data into a row (or column) or receive a worksheet
from another person that has data in a row (or
column), and you decide the data would be better
presented as a column (or row). You can also
transpose rows and columns together in a single
command, which is handy when you need to
restructure a worksheet.
