Selecting a gray color
for the AutoShape
In the example shown in Figure 7.1, all the boxes and graphics are AutoShapes that
are positioned on the worksheet. The flow lines can be created using the
Connectors, as shown in Chapter 6. In this case the lines are made by using the Arrow tool
in the Drawing menu.
After you have finished the thumbnail, group together all the different elements
within the thumbnail. Excel has a sophisticated grouping feature that makes it easy
to work with groups. As you create this scenario, youmight find yourself
repositioning the thumbnails or copying and pasting them into other worksheets.
In this exercise you will learn how to group, ungroup, and regroup the graphic
elements of a thumbnail using AutoShapes.
