Data table example
To turn the information into a data table (list), highlight the data range, including headings, and select
the Insert tab. Then, click Table in the Tables group. The Create Table window appears, as shown in
Figure E-2.

When you click OK, the data range appears as a table. In the Design tab, select Total Row to add a totals
row to the data table. You also can select a light style in the Table Styles list to get rid of the contrasting
color in the table
s rows. Figure E-3 shows the results.
