Preparing worksheets for printing
Excel comes with three margin settings: Normal, Wide, and Narrow. Excel applies the
Normal setting by default, but you can select any of the three options by displaying the
workbook in the Backstage view and then, in the Settings area, clicking the Margins
button and clicking the setting you want. If you want finer control over your margins, click the
Margins button and then click Custom Margins to display the Margins page of the Page
Setup dialog box.
If you want to display a worksheet’s margins while you have its workbook open in
the Backstage view, click the Show Margins button near the lower-right corner of
the Backstage view.
