Tracking and managing colleagues’ changes

Click OK . When you do, a message box appears, indicating that Excel will save the
workbook.

Click OK to close the message box. Excel saves the workbook and begins tracking
changes.

In cell E6 , enter 16% , and then press Enter . A blue lag appears in the upper-left
corner of cell E6 , indicating that the cell was changed.

In cell E7 , enter 14% , and then press Enter .

On the Quick Access Toolbar , click the Save button to save your work.

On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click Track Changes , and then click
Highlight Changes to open the Highlight Changes dialog box.

Select the List changes on a new sheet check box, clear the When check box, and
then click OK . Excel creates and displays a worksheet named History , which contains
a list of all changes made since the last time a user accepted or rejected changes.

Click the Sheet1 sheet tab to display the Sheet1 worksheet.

On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click Track Changes , and then click
Accept/Reject Changes . The Select Changes to Accept or Reject dialog box opens.

Click OK to display the first change in the Accept or Reject Changes dialog box.
