using keys on the right side of the keyboard. Here s how it works:

Note that the active cell, which is the one with a green solid border, is
still cell C2. The flashing border is like a second cell pointer that
you can use to point to the correct cell for the formula. As shown in
Figure 8.19 , the temporary formula in the formula bar reads +B2.
