The fill handle double-click method is fast. Excel 2013 follows any diagon-

al path of nonempty cells to figure out where the bottom of your data set is.

You should always press End and then press the down arrow to make sure

that the formula was copied far enough.

Use the Table Tool to Copy a Formula

The table tool was improved dramatically in Excel 2007. When using this

tool, if you tell Excel that your current data set is a table, Excel automat-

ically copies new formulas down to the rest of the cells in the table.

shows an Excel worksheet that has headings at the top and many

rows of data below the headings.
