It is unlikely that you will need more than 255 arguments in this function,
but if you do, you can group arguments in parentheses. For example,
=SUM((A10,A12),(A14,A16)) would count as only two of the 255 allowed argu-
ments.
If a text value that looks like a number is included in a range, the text value
is not included in the result of the sum. Strangely enough, if you specify the
text value directly as an argument in the function, Excel adds it to the res-
