Mini Briefing Books
I created this mockup of a Mini Briefing Book about fifteen years
ago. It was designed to fold and keep in a shirt pocket or small
I liked the idea because it made key information easily available to
managers. And it forced companies to think carefully about the key
information that managers need to have at hand.
(To give you an idea of its size, that's a standard paperclip resting
on the fold.)
Unfortunately, I had to wait until Excel XP (introduced in 2001)
before I could use the Camera tool to print both landscape and
portrait displays on the same sheet of paper—as shown here. Until
Excel XP, the Camera tool couldn’t rotate its image.
