something to keep in mind about deleting web parts, particularly those you have
extensively configured (you might want to export a copy before you delete, just in case you
change your mind later).
2. Click OK to delete the web part.
Once the Shared Documents web part is gone, its column will react to the change and
rearrange. This is likely because nothing particularly large is in that column right now. All web
parts so far are set to automatically it their zones. The left column will get a bit smaller, and the
right one will get a little larger (Figure 5.16).

And that’s it for deleting a web part. It’s that’s easy.
Built-in Web Part Templates
So, we’ve learned about web part settings and even set some. Most List View web parts,
although they have the Appearance, Layouts, and Advanced sections, don’t necessarily
need much configuring. However, there are web parts that require configuration in order
to even display any content.
Those are the built-in web part templates, such as the Content Editor web part, Forms, or
Page Viewer.
