C L O S I N G A W E B P A R T
There are times when a web part is on a page that you’d like to remove temporarily, just to get it
out of the way. There is a way to do this on web part pages. You can close the web part, instead
of minimizing or deleting it.
When you close a web part, it puts it in a Closed web part gallery to be returned to the page
at your leisure.
To close a web part, simply click its title bar, and select Close in the menu (Figure 5.39).

1. To get it back, put the page in edit mode, and click Add A Web Part above the zone you
want to return the web part to.
In the web part workspace, there will be a new category, Closed Web Parts (Figure 5.40).
