9. Click OK to create and apply the new view.
The view in my example isolates the two Informational items that were created earlier in
the chapter and displays them exclusively, as shown in Figure 6.31.

10. To turn off the view and see all items in the list, simply click the View menu at the end of
the title breadcrumb (or click in the Current View menu in the List ribbon), and select the
All Items v iew.
Keep your filter view in mind, and when you need to filter the list in any way, just go to the
view and modify it to match your criteria. If you find yourself often using a particular set of
filter criteria, just create a new filter view specifically for that. You should consider setting its
audience to Personal, so no one else can see it or change it.
