When the server reboots and you log back in with the same administrative account you
used for the prerequisite installation, the preparation tool will start running again. It may
look like a restart, complete with a progress bar, but all it’s doing behind the scenes is
dealing with the effects of the hotixes.

5. When it’s ready, the installer will display an Installation Complete page, as shown in
Figure 2.6. You can see that the Application server role has been configured successfully,
and all other prerequisites appear as “(no action taken).” This means that those
prerequisites were installed successfully before the reboot and then, after reboot, were not
reinstalled. You can safely click Finish to complete the prerequisite installation process; the
server will not reboot this time.
