Backup and Restore
This category contains the settings for backing up and restoring the SharePoint farm, web
applications, site collections, or even sites and lists if you’d like. Within the list scope, you can even
recover data from detached databases if necessary.
Backing up and restoring at all levels are covered in detail in Chapter 13, “Maintenance and
Monitoring”; this section goes over the highlights so you know where everything is when you
need it.

the farm or web applications. Here are the links for performing backups, restores, and
