In Depth Information
The current or most recent jobs will display details such as status (usually either initializing,
success, or failure), duration of the job, when it was completed (if it’s done), and recovery steps
(usually referring to PowerShell, but you can also restore using STSADM).
If, for some reason, you accidentally close or move away from this page before you intended
to, this is how you get back to it.
This category includes all things related to SharePoint security, organized between user
security, general SharePoint farm security, and, for those configured for it, information policy for
information rights management.
This subcategory seems to be a bit of a jumble, containing settings that relate to managing farm
administrator accounts, web application policy for users (already accessible from the Manage
Web Applications page), and approving or rejecting distribution groups. Only the web
application policy settings seem to relate to users, and they are accessible elsewhere.

This setting takes you to the People And Groups page for Central Administration. This group,
Farm Administrators, gives members the full access to all settings on the farm, giving them the
power to add, remove, or configure all web applications, services, or content databases and more. To
add an account to the Farm Administrators group, simply click the New button (Figure 11.62).
